Nordmøre

Nordmøre (lit. "North-Møre") is a landscape of mid-Norwegian county Møre og Romsdal and compromises the municipalities of Kristiansund, Averøy, Frei, Tingvoll, Surnadal, Rindal, Aure, Halsa, Tustna, and Smøla. Its central city is Kristiansund.

In the early Viking Age, before Harald Fairhair, Nordmøre was a petty kingdom.
