North Staffordshire Railway
The North Staffordshire Railway operated a compact system of standard gauge lines around its hub of Stoke on Trent in Staffordshire. It lasted from the 1840's until grouping of the railways in 1922. It became a part of the London Midland and Scottish Railway.
