Norwich International Airport

Norwich International Airport, (IATA airport code: NWI, ICAO airport code: EGSH, also just Norwich Airport) is an airport about 5km (3 miles) from the city of Norwich, Norfolk.
Along with a long history of flights to Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam via KLM Cityhopper (formerly KLM uk), it offers flights to various destinations in the United Kingdom and Europe.
It has two runways, one 1,842m (6,043ft) long, the other 1,285m (4,215ft).
It was built in 1939 as Horsham St Faiths airfield . During World War II, B-24 Liberators of the USAAF flew from the base. It was used by the RAF from July 1945 until 1967.
