Notre-Dame Cathedral (Ottawa)
The Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica is an ecclesiastic basilica in Ottawa, Canada.
The first plans for the cathedral date from 1839. The building's structure was constructed between 1841 and 1865. The cathedral was dedicated to the Immaculate Conception in 1853, and was elevated to the status of basilica in 1879.
