Novgorod Oblast
Novgorod Oblast (Russian: Новгоро́дская о́бласть) is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast). Its administrative center is the city of Novgorod.
Area 53,895 km². Population is estimated at 683,795 in 2004, down from about 753,000 in 1989.
