Of Mice and Men is a 1939 film based on the novel by John Steinbeck with the same title. It stars Burgess Meredith, Betty Field, Lon Chaney Jr., Charles Bickford, Roman Bohnen , Bob Steele and Noah Beery Jr.
The film was adapted by Eugene Solow and directed by Lewis Milestone.
The movie was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture.
