Operations
Operations is that unit (be it a division or department) or activities, of an organization that carries out the actual execution of the core operating functions.
For example:
- in a business administration context, operations is the manufacturing, delivery, and service of the products provided by the company.
- in a military context, operations are those activities that project military power. These operations can include combat, deterrence, policing, humanitarian assistance, or a combination of these tasks.
