Orb (charmed)

Orbing is the magical form of teleportation used by Whitelighters and Elders in the television show Charmed.

When someone orbs, they turn blue and lose most corporeal form, and can go from place to place instantly. Even someone with only half-whitelighter heritage can orb, as displayed by Paige Matthews and Wyatt and Chris Halliwell .

The ability to orb also manifests in a telekinetic-like ability to move objects in Paige. With concentration, a whitelighter can call objects to them even more conveniently than with telekinesis, as they don't have to worry about walls, ceilings, and other obstructions. Leo Wyatt was able to orb the Charmed Ones and an Elder away from the Titans, even while he was in the Heavens and they were on Earth.

Wyatt Halliwell was also once able to conjure a dragon by orbing it out of the television and into reality.

While learning to orb, and when more focus is required, such as battle situations, Paige Matthews calls the name of the object she is trying to orb. For instance if a Demon threw a fireball at her, she would hold out her hand toward it, yell "Fireball!" and be able to orb it away from herself, or even right back at the demon who threw it. She does not have to be terribly accurate with the words she uses, being able to orb away some acidic demon spit with the words "Icky stuff". She also orbs a small circular throwing weapon away from Pheobe Halliwell with the words "Weapon..Thingy!"
