Ormond railway station, Melbourne

Ormond railway station (station code: OMD) is on the suburban Frankston line in Melbourne, Australia. It is located at the intersection of North Road and Katandra Road in the suburb of Ormond. It is in ticketing Zone 1.

This station has three platforms. Platforms 1 and 2 are arranged as an island platform (where trains arrive either side of a central shared platform). These are connected by a pedestrian crossing directly over the tracks and a pedestrian subway. Platform 3 is separate to the other platforms and is only used for passengers during morning peak services.

Ormond railway station lies adjacent to the North Road shopping strip, so it is close to a number of shops and restaurants. Although it is not a "premium station", and is as such no longer manned, the old ticket window is reopened at peak times as a kiosk selling food and other items.

Ormond station has car parking facilities and disabled access, but few other facilities. However, most trains that pass through Ormond stop there.
