Orpington railway station
Orpington railway station is in the London Borough of Bromley, has eight platforms and links to London in the North and Hastings in the South. It is in Travelcard Zone 6.
This train station has major links to several of London's main stations - Victoria, London Bridge and Charing Cross. Nearby it crosses the A21 road with many beautiful and early bridges which survived World War II.
The typical off-peak service from the station is:
- 5tph (trains per hour) to London Charing Cross, of which two run fast to London Bridge, one calls at Petts Wood before running fast to London Bridge, and two call at all stations to Hither Green before running fast to London Bridge
- 2tph to London Victoria, calling at all stations via Bromley South and Herne Hill
- 2tph to Ashford International via Tonbridge
- 1tph to Hastings via Tunbridge Wells
- 1tph to Sevenoaks, calling at all stations
