Orquesta tipica
Orquesta tipica (or tango orchestra) is an orchestra or chamber group that traditionally plays Argentine tango music.
An orquesta tipica typically includes a string section (with violins, viola and cello), a bandoneón section (with 3 or more bandoneons), and a rythmic section (with a piano and a double bass).
An orquesta tipica is an expanded version of a Sexteto Tipico, which includes 2 bandoneons, 2 violins, double bass and piano.
