Osaka Municipal Subway Tanimachi Line

The Tanimachi Line(谷町線, -sen) is a subway line of the Osaka Municipal Subway system in Japan. It is the longest subway line in Osaka. In 1967, the section from Higashi-Umeda to Tanimachi Yon-chome was opened. The next year, the section from Tanimachi Yon-chome to Tennoji was opened. In 1974, the section from Higashi-Umeda to Miyakojima was opened. Whole sections of the line was opened in 1983.
