Osvaldo Golijov
Osvaldo Golijov (born 1960) is an Argentinian composer. He has composed works for the Kronos Quartet.
In 2000 Golijov, along with Sofia Gubaidulina, Tan Dun, and Wolfgang Rihm, was commissioned by the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart to write a piece for the Passion 2000 project in commemoration of Johann Sebastian Bach. His contribution was the La Pasion Segun San Marcos.
