Pak sarzamin shad bad

"Pak sarzamin shad bad" ("Blessed be the Sacred Land") is the national anthem of Pakistan. It was adopted in 1954, the same year that Pakistan became a republic. The lyrics are written by the famous Pakistani poet Abul Asar Hafeez Jalandhari , and the music composed by Ahmed G. Chagla . An interesting fact is that the music of the anthem was composed before the lyrics were written.

The song is written in Urdu.
