Pandæmonium
Pandemonium has the following meanings:
- "Pandæmonium" (or "Pandemonium") is the name given by John Milton to the capital of Hell in Paradise Lost. The council-chamber of demons is in Pandæmonium. Since then, it has been associated with hell and evil. It is also the name of a level in Doom, and the final dungeon in Final Fantasy 2.
- Pandemonium is a movie (1982)
- Pandaemonium is a movie (2000) about Samuel Taylor Coleridge, William Wordsworth and his sister Dorothy Wordsworth.
- Pandemonium is an Outer Plane of the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.
- Pandemonium is a video game made by Eidos.
- It is also used to denote a chaotic or confusing situation.
