Papillomavirus
See text Papillomaviruses are viruses that commonly cause warts. In most cases, these do not cause malignant change leading to cancer but some types of papilloma viruses, especially type 16 and 18 in humans have been known to be strongly related to cervical cancer. They were formerly included with Polyomavirus.

- Bovine papillomavirus (BPV)
- Canine oral papillomavirus (COPV)
- Cottontail rabbit papillomavirus (CRPV, type species)
- Deer papillomavirus (DPV) or Deer fibroma virus
- European elk papillomavirus (EEPV)
- Human papillomavirus (HPV)
- Ovine papillomavirus (OPV)
