Paremoremo
Paremoremo is a largely rural locality west of Albany on the northern fringe of Auckland, New Zealand.
Its main claim to fame, or notoriety, among New Zealanders, is the country's main maximum security prison, where the most problematical prisoners are often sent, and where "D Block" has a particularly harsh reputation. A recent inmate of wide renown, kept in solitary confinement at one stage, was refugee Ahmed Zaoui.
