Paulina Gretzky
Paulina Gretzky (born 1988), is the daughter of legendary NHL hockey player Wayne Gretzky, and an up-and-coming singer.
Paulina's Canadian debut was during the highly publicised Oilers/Canadiens game in mid-November 2003. Her first performance was the night before the game, at Rexall Place for a crowd of 8,000 at an event called Legends Live . The next day, the two NHL teams faced off in the Heritage Classic at Commonwealth Stadium, in front of a record NHL attendance of 57,167 fans. Paulina performed a slow rendition of the Sarah McLachlan hit I Will Remember You at the rinkside; she received a standing ovation.
Broadcaster Ron MacLean reported that Wayne Gretzky sent a tape of his daughter singing to Don Metz , producer of both the event and the corresponding outdoor entertainment.
She is considered by some to be "spitting image" of her mother Janet .
