Perek Belleh
Perek Belleh (b. January 2, 1982) is a Nigerian-American soccer player, who currently plays for the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer.
Belleh played college soccer at the University of Rhode Island from 2000 to 2003, where he finished his career with 23 goals and 17 assists, including a tremendous 12 goal 12 assist season in 2003. After graduating, Belleh was drafted 10th overall by the Rochester Rhinos in the 2004 A-League college draft. However, shortly into the season the Rhinos released him; nevertheless, Belleh managed to acquire a contract a level up with the Revolution, who signed him to their developmental roster July 20. Belleh has not, however, garnered any league playing time in his first season with the Revolution.
