Pi Rixiu
Pi Rixiu 皮日休 was a Tang dynasty poet, born ca 838 at Xiangyang, Hubei, died ca 883; style name Yishao, pseudonym: Lumengzhi.
In Xiantong era 867 AD , he obtained a degree of Jinshi.In 868 AD, he travelled to Suzhou, the following year, 869 AD,he became Suzhou magistrate. Later he participated in Wangchao rebellion. After the defeat of Wangchao rebellion, he retired in Southern China. Pi Rixiu was a contemporary of poet Lu Guimong, these two poets are often referred to as Pi-Lu.
