Pitch
Pitch may refer to:
- Pitch is the property of a sound or musical tone measured by its perceived frequency. See also musical tuning for pitch systems and pitch standards.
- Pitch, or tone of voice, refers to variation of tone in tonal language, and in languages with melodic accent
- Pitch, a throw of a baseball by a pitcher
- The playing area, or part of it, in various outdoor sports, including:
- cricket (sport) (see here)
- football (soccer) (see here)
- the fictional game of quidditch
- Similarly, an open outdoor location for camping or concerts
- Pitch , a bidding, point-taking card game usually played with a partner.
- Pitch, a mining term for a vertical space; also used in caving and climbing
- Pitch, a type of resin
- Dot pitch, the distance between dots in a computer display
