Planck (satellite)
Planck is a European Space Agency satellite to be launched in 2007. Planck's purpose is to measure anisotropy in the cosmic microwave background radiation. Such measurements can help determine the age of the universe and whether it will eventually expand or collapse. The Agency named the satellite for the German physicist Max Karl Ernst Ludwig Planck.
