Planeswalker

In the fictional multiverse of the Magic: The Gathering game a Planeswalker is a powerful mage, able to travel across the planes of existence. One can only become a planeswalker if he has a "planeswalker spark" and ascends, although many people, such as Glacian of Halcyon, had the spark but never ascended.

A spark is transferable, as shown in 5th Dawn, a book of the Magic series. When Glissa (the holder of a spark) and everyone else on the plane except for a single goblin character named Slobad is destroyed, Slobad receives the spark.

Famous planeswalker from that game include: Urza, Serra, Teferi, Jeska, and Karn.
