Polish parliamentary election, 2005
A general election to the Sejm is not scheduled yet, but there are two options:
- in spring, probably June 19 2005 (or other Sunday in June) as it was promised in electoral campaign by winning party SLD, now as the support for ruling party goes down they opt for the autumn election; opposition parties, but some member of SLD as well as Prime Minister Marek Belka, are for the anticipated election allowing the newly elected parliament and government to prepare its own budget,
- in autumn between September 26 and October 16, probably together with the first round of the presidential election and referendum on the European Constitution.
