Polyvinyl acetate
Polyvinyl acetate or PVA is a rubbery synthetic polymer.
Polyvinyl acetate was discovered in Germany by Dr Fritz Klatte in 1912.
It is sold, as an emulsion in water, as an adhesive for porous materials, particularly wood.
