Prajapati

In Hinduism, Prajapati is Lord of Creatures, thought to be depicted on ancient Harappan seals, sitting in yogic posture, with an erection and what appear to be bison horns. Like the Biblical Adam, he is in close communication with Nature and Nature revolves around him. Prajapati has been identified with the later Brahma and with the non-Aryan Shiva. Recent discoveries have moved the end of the Harappan culture farther back in pre-history to approximately 3,000 BCE, which pushes what appears to be the practice of linga worship (and therefore Shaivism) even further into the dark past of civilization. The presence of hundreds of what appear to be nothing other than shivalinga discovered amid the ruins of hundreds of Sindhu-Sarasvati cities and villages located in the Indus Valley Civilization that today is known as Pakistan, would make the indentification of Prajapati with Shiva even stronger.

Also in Hinduism, the Prajapatis are a group (or one) of creation gods, children of Brahma, including Daksha.
