Pride and Prejudice (BBC)


Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice (1813) has been adapted for television by the BBC on three occasions. The one that is most well-known, and perhaps most beloved by fans of Jane Austen, is a 1995 six-episode dramatization starring Jennifer Ehle as Elizabeth Bennet and Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy . There have also been several radio adaptations done of the novel.
