Promontory Point is a locale in southern Box Elder County, Utah, centered approximately at , with an elevation of 1285 meters (4217 feet) above sea level. [1] It is located on a promontory (peninsula) in the northern part of the Great Salt Lake.

Promontory Point is also the cape where this place is located, centered approximately at 41° 12′ 18″ N 112° 25′ 43″ W, with an elevation of 1309 meters (4297 feet) above sea level. [2] It is the location of the northern Utah weather radar.
