Puerto Williams

Puerto Williams is a small Chilean port, located on Isla Navarino facing the Beagle Channel. It is the Southernmost settlement in the world, but for those in the Antarctic. Its latitude and longitude are .
Puerto Williams is the capital of Antártica Chilena Province, one of four provinces of the Magellanes Region. The province is huge, however most is uninhabited and ownership is disputed (other countries do not recognize Chile's territorial claims to part of the Antarctic). Navarino island is internationally recognized as a part of Chile.
The town is named after Admiral Williams and was founded in the early twentieth century, as a naval base.
It is famous for a museum about the Selknam, natives who formerly inhabited Tierra del Fuego
