Quantock Hills

The Quantock Hills are a range of hills near Bridgwater in Somerset in the south-west of England. The hills are officially designated as the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The highest point on the "Quantock's" is Will's Neck at 384 metres (1261 feet). The hills form the sothern border of Sedgemoor and the Somerset Levels. To the South of the Hills lies the vale of Taunton Deane. The range runs north-westwards for over 15 miles and end at West Quantoxhead. From the top of the hills it is possible to see, on a clear day, Glastonbury Tor and the Mendips in the East, Wales, as far as the Gower Peninsular in the North, Exmoor in the West and the Blackdown hills in the South.

In 2000 the film Pandaemonium, based on the lives of poets William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge, was set in the hills.
