Queen Margot
Queen Margot (French La Reine Margot) was a novel written in 1845 by Alexandre Dumas.
It is the fictionalized story of the real Marguerite de Valois, wife of King Henry IV of France.
Several movies were based on the novel, including:
- La Reine Margot (1910 movie)
- La Reine Margot (1954 movie)
- La Reine Margot (1994 movie) , a 1994 film starring Isabelle Adjani and Daniel Auteuil. The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Costume Design.
