Rangeela (1995) is a Hindi movie, a product of the Bollywood film industry. It was directed by Ram Gopal Varma, and starred Aamir Khan, Urmila Matondkar, and Jackie Shroff .

Rangeela was the first Hindi movie with a score composed by South Indian musical director A. R. Rahman. Rangeela was a superhit and gave a big boost to Urmila's career. Aamir disagreed with the director after the filming and never acted in another RGV movie.

Mili is a beautiful Mumbai girl with a job as a dancer in Bollywood movies. She watches from the sidelines as spoiled Bollywood prima donnas preen and fuss, and dreams of being a movie star herself. The impossible comes true and she gets her big chance. Not only does she become a star, superstar Raj falls in love with her. But what about Munna, her downstairs neighbor, a handsome, feisty street kid? Can Mili leave her old life and her old friend behind?
