Rania Siam
Rania Siam was an 8-year-old Palestinian girl killed by Israel Defense Forces as she ate lunch in the kitchen of her home in Khan Yunis, Gaza Strip on December 10, 2004. Earlier in the day, three mortar shells were fired into the nearby Israeli settlement of Neve Dekalim injuring four people, one of them a child. Hamas claimed responsibility. Israeli troops fired in the general direction of the source of the mortar fire killing Rania Siam.
The Israeli army stated that it would investigate Rania Siam's death.
