Rasmus Lerdorf
Rasmus Lerdorf (born November 22 1968 in Qeqertarsuaq, Greenland) is a Danish-Canadian programmer and the author of the first version of the PHP web programming language. Rasmus co-authored the following versions of PHP along with Israeli founders of Zend Technologies, Andi Gutmans and Zeev Suraski. In 1993 he graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Ba.Sc. in Systems Design Engineering. Since September 2002, he has been employed by Yahoo! Inc. as a Infrastructure Architecture Engineer.
