Raymond Felton

Raymond Felton (born June 26, 1984 in Latta, South Carolina) is a point guard for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At 6'1", 198 pounds, he is one of college basketball's best guards. At high school, Raymond was named National High School Player of the Year in 2002, led his high school to two state championships and a high school career record of 104-9. He was named to the All-American Team and he set 2 South Carolina state records. In his freshman year, he was voted Carolina Player of the Year and ACC Freshman of the Week three times. He had 236 assists, and averaged 12.0 points a game. In his sophmore year, he was a finalist for the Bob Cousy Award and the Naismith Award, and had 213 assists. Raymond led the Tar Heels in steals (63) and free throw percentage (81%). Not only this, but he averaged 11.5 points per game.
