Reader
There are several cities in the United States called Reader, see Reader (place)
A Reader is a minor member of the clergy in some Christian churches; see Reader (minor orders).
A reader is a book that is a collection of essays and writings from a collection of authors or one author on a single topic. The desire of a reader is usually to provide a collection of varying viewpoints or perspectives on one issue. When a reader has only one author, it is usually intended to be a representative assemblance of that author's body of work.
In the United Kingdom academic hierarchy, Reader is the rank in-between senior lecturer (or principal lecturer in the New Universities) and professor. Most readers are the heads of internal research institutes.
