The word real has many different meanings:

- Real estate is a property.
- Real is the name of 4 Freguesias in Portugal.
- Real is a Lacanian aspect of human psychic structure.
- REAL is the name of an album by the Japanese rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel.
- Real, Quezon is a municipality in the Philippines.
IMPORTANT: When the word "real" is used as a synonym for either truth or reality, it should be linked to one of these two specific articles (e.g.: "The real world.").
