Rebecca Romijn (aka Rebecca Romijn-Stamos) (born November 6, 1972) is a former supermodel currently making the switch to become an actress. She was born in Berkeley, California to parents with Dutch ancestry.

While studying music at the University of California, Santa Cruz, she became involved with modelling and eventually moved to Paris, France for more than two years. Among other jobs, she modeled for the swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated and for Victoria's Secret.

She married actor John Stamos in 1998. During her marriage, she used the name Rebecca Romijn-Stamos in both her personal and professional life. The couple separated in 2004 and divorced in 2005. She has returned to using her birth name. Currently she is dating actor Jerry O'Connell.

In 2000's X-Men, she had her first major movie role as "Mystique"; she returned to the role in 2003's sequel X2: X-Men United. In these movies her costume consisted of blue makeup and some strategically placed prosthetics on her otherwise nude body. She had her first leading role in Brian De Palma's Femme Fatale (2002). She also starred in the movie Rollerball with Chris Klein.
