Renault Kangoo
The Kangoo is a mini-MPV produced by Renault. The rear windows and seats can be deleted, producing a small van sold as the 'Kangoo Express'. The Kangoo is popular with the mobility-impaired and wheelchair users due to its height and accessibility. It can be adapted to include mounting points for wheelchairs. Both the Kangoo and Kangoo Express are available in 4x4 versions, with raised ride height and altered styling. A lengthened version is also available, with an increased cargo area. The Kangoo is manufactured in Renault's MCA plant in Maubeuge, France.
It is also sold by Nissan in Latin America and Europe as the Kubistar.
Engines
The Kangoo and Kangoo Express are available with a choice of seven engines:
- 1.2 litre 16v petrol engine producing 75bhp
- 1.6 litre 16v petrol engine producing 95bhp (Also available in Kangoo 4x4)
- 1.5 litre dCi diesel engine producing 65bhp
- 1.5 litre dCi diesel engine producing 80bhp
- 1.9 litre dCi turbodiesel engine producing 85 bhp (Kangoo 4x4 only)
