Representation theory
In mathematics, representation theory is the name given to the study of standard representations of abstract mathematical structures.
- The representation theory of groups is concerned with representing groups as linear transformations of vector spaces.
- The representation theory of Boolean algebras is concerned with representing Boolean algebras and their specializations as fields of sets.
