Richard Gavin Reid (January 17, 1879 - October 17, 1980), Canadian politician, was Premier of Alberta between 1934 and 1935. He was the last United Farmers of Alberta Premier before the party was wiped out by the Social Credit party.

Reid was first elected to the Alberta legislature in the 1921 election when the UFA was first elected. He served in UFA cabinets for the next thirteen years, including a decade as provincial treasurer. He became Premier after his predecessor, John E. Brownlee, was forced to resign by a sex scandal.

By the time Reid took office in 1934, the UFA government had become very conservative, and was at odds with the United Farmers of Alberta executive who had decided to support the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation and its socialist policies. Conversely, the Reid government was also being challenged by the growing Canadian social credit movement and its demand for social credit and other monetary reforms. Reid's party was unable to maintain the support of voters and was swept from office in the 1935 election by William Aberhart's Social Credit party.
