Ricky Shakes
Ricky Shakes (born January 25, 1985 in Brixton, England) is a Canadian international football player who currently plays for Bolton Wanderers F.C. as a forward.
He initially played with the training academy of Charlton Athletic F.C. before moving to Bolton.
Shakes made his debut in the FA cup third round replay against Tranmere Rovers F.C. on January 13, 2004 as a substitute for Stelios Giannakopoulos. Scoring a dramatic last-minute equalizer in the match, it was courtesy of his goal that the match entered extra time. However, the goal was to be nullified in the first minute of extra time by a goal from Tranmere's Edinburgh-born Canadian striker Iain Hume .
His international caps for Canada thus far include a debut performance against Cuba in the CONCACAF Gold Cup and an appearance against Wales.
On March 24, 2005, he was loaned to Bury F.C. along with Danny Boshell .
