Rigas Velestinlis-Fereos
Rigas Velestinlis-Fereos on a 10 cent Greek euro coin
Rigas Velestinlis-Fereos (Greek: Ρήγας Βελεστινλής-Φερραίος) (1757-1798) was a Hellenized Vlach poet, thinker, and revolutionary against the Ottoman Empire from the town of Velestino (or Feres) in Thessaly.
Rigas Fereos was also the name of the youth wing of the Interior Communist Party of Greece , in honour of the poet. A split of this youth wing was "Rigas Fereos - Second Panhellenic".
