Rocco Siffredi
Rocco Siffredi is an Italian pornographic actor as well as director and producer of pornographic movies. He was born as Rocco Tano on May 4th, 1964 in Ortona Mare, Italy. He is also known as 'the Italian Stallion', a name which is related to his large penis size (he is over 10 inches fully erect).
After a beginning in France, he frequently makes shoots abroad, in Budapest, Hungary (which is also the headquarters of Rocco Siffredi Produzioni ) and also Montreal, Russia, Brazil and various Eastern European countries. In his movies, he seems to consistently prefer anal intercourse. Over the years, he has developed a cult following in the pornographic community. He has been in over 1,300 films.
Rocco's films seem to be wildly varied in content and tone. He has appeared in romantic adventures and comedies in the Vivid style but his later work with Evil Angel of John Stagliano is informed by the artistic philosophy of Max Hardcore. In those later films Rocco spits on women, slaps them, performs irrumatio and watersports (censored excessively in US cuts), makes his co-stars gag during deepthroat, and pulls hair to the point of causing tears. He also has a submissive BDSM scene in a film called Rocco pił che mai a Londra 2. Rocco helped start the careers of the ultra-violent Nacho Vidal and Kelly Stafford.
Although, he has involved only in heterosexual pornography, he is unique in attracting a large gay audience.
In 1999, he appeared in controversial Catherine Breillat film Romance X. In 2003, he acted in the film Anatomy of Hell of the same director.
In June 2004, Siffredi declared that he would quit acting in porn, and focus on filming and producing. His reason was because of his children. He said, "My children are growing up, and I can no longer just say 'Dad is going to work to make money for the family.' They want to know more."
Rocco is married to Hungarian-born, naturalised Italian porn actress Rosa Caracciolo.
