Rocket Red
The Rocket Red Brigade is a DC Comics superhero team. Created for the Soviet Union by Green Lantern Kilowog, the Rocket Red Brigade - normal human beings in armoured power-suits - proudly defended the USSR. One of their team, Dmitri Puskin, became a member of the Justice League after the previously assigned Rocket Red #7 was revealed to be a Manhunter android. When the Soviet Union collapsed, the Rocket Reds fell on hard times. Many of the suits ended up on the black market and in the hands of criminals. One of them was used by Vandal Savage as a missile to destroy the South American city of Montevideo (he'd been aiming for a major city in the United States, but it was thrown off-course by, ironically, a side-effect of one of his other attempts to take over the world).
