Rodney McKay
Dr. Rodney McKay is a self-described genius played by David Hewlett in the fictional television series Stargate Atlantis, currently set in the Pegasus Galaxy. He is a doctor in Astrophysics, and the most knowledgeable person in Ancient technology in the city of Atlantis.
Many consider McKay to be very stuck-up. He is, really, to those who are not as smart as he is, and so he's a jerk to almost everyone. However, some have found some redeeming qualties, like the fact that he knows Ancient technology enough to save everyone repeatedly throughout the series. And, a very obvious fact, he has a thing for Samantha Carter, and has had it since they worked together at SGC during his occasional guest appearances in Stargate SG-1.
