Rolling (physiology)
Rolling is the name of a process in physiology where a white blood cell connects with endothelium cells via complementary surface adhesion molecules (selectins ), rolling along it like a tumbleweed. A result of this can be the standstill of the white blood cell against the endothelium, allowing for diapedesis to start.
