Ronnie Baxter

Ronnie Baxter (born 1961) is an English darts player. Nicknamed "the Rocket", Ronnie is well known to legions of darts fans for his trademark, robotic throwing action.

One of the top players to grace the world stage since the mid 1990s, he reached the final of the Embassy World Professional Darts Championship on two occasions, in 1999 and 2000 respectively.

In 2002, he "defected" from the British darts Organisation to rival governing body, the Professional Darts Corporation and now features in televised tournaments seen mainly on Sky Sports.

Originally from Church in Lancashire, he currently resides in Cirencester where he runs a "boarding house" with his lady, Rachael.
