Rosales is an order of flowering plants, including the rose family, Rosaceae. The families given at right are typical of modern classification systems. Aside from the Rosaceae themselves, this is a complete change in composition from the Rosales from the older Cronquist taxonomy:

These forms have been removed to various other orders, most notable the Saxifragales, while the former Urticales have been transferred here.
