Royal Highland Fusiliers
The Royal Highland Fusiliers is a regiment of the British Army. It was formed in 1959 through the amalgamation of the Royal Scots Fusiliers and the Highland Light Infantry. In 2004, as part of the restructuring of the infantry, it was announced that the Royal Highland Fusiliers would be amalgamated with the other Scottish infantry regiments as part of the single large Royal Regiment of Scotland.
